Catalog and Online Exhibitor List of the „German Group“ at the CCMT 2016 (Shanghai)

„New environment, new pattern and new action“; that’s the motto of this year’s CCMT (China CNC Machine Tool Fair), the leading trade fair for machine tools in Shanghai.

IMAG organized the participation of German businesses with the mission statement „Made in Germany“

With an exhibition space of 120,000 square meters, the trade fair has reached a new magnitude. „Since the first CCMT in the year 2000, the number of exhibitors has quadrupled, and the exhibition space in the meantime is six times as large. That impressively demonstrates the great potential of the Chinese market for manufacturers of machine tools“ says Peter Bergleiter, IMAG general director. For this year, 1,250 exhibitors registered, 400 from abroad.

The Demand for Machines „Made in Germany“ Continues Unabated

„Even if China’s economic growth is slowing at the moment, the demand for machines „made in Germany“ continues unabated“ says Bergleiter. „The technology of German machine tools enjoys an excellent reputation in China, and is associated with the intelligent deployment of machines and material conservation.“

CCMT Catalog and Online Exhibitor Directory of the „German Group“ by w+t

On behalf of IMAG, wohlgemuth + team realized the handy print catalog of the community of German exhibitors. This catalog was made available at the German Group Info-Point, the German information stand of the German government, and in the German Lounge.

In addition, w+t also created the exhibitor list of the corresponding German businesses, available on the Internet.

IMAG project director Reinhard Willenbücher sums up the engagement accordingly: „The exhibitors were very satisfied with the results of the trade fair; for some, their expectations were even exceeded. With wohlgemuth + team, we have an innovative and consistently reliable partner for trade fair media at our side. The orientation in the future will surely be increasingly toward digital media.“

By the way: at the request of the German Machine Tool Builders‘ Association (VDW), the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) promoted in 2016 for the first time a collective presentation of firms of the German economy with participation by the federal government at the CCMT. This was intended to make it possible for small and mid-sized businesses to have an affordable and efficient presence at the trade fair. Stands of a size of 12 to 100 square meters were supported.
